Improved working conditions with such initiatives as: breastfeeding rooms; extension of maternity leave from 4 to 6 months; adaptation of uniforms to female body shapes; and recognition of same-sex partner couples for healthcare services. Addressed and reversed gender-based salary differentials by establishing a corporate policy of equal pay for equal work. Differentials were reversed progressively by establishing specific annual targets.
